Getting Started
Click the "Begin Journey" button on our homepage to start your personalized onboarding experience. You'll answer questions about your fitness goals, body metrics, lifestyle, and nutrition preferences. This helps us create your personalized plan with calculated calorie and macro targets. After completing your profile setup, you'll create your account with an email and password, then choose your subscription plan to get started.
During the onboarding process, you'll provide information to create your personalized fitness plan:
- Fitness Goals: Primary goal (lose weight, gain muscle, maintain, or body recomp) and plan intensity
- Physical Details: Gender, date of birth, height, current weight, and target weight
- Lifestyle: Activity level, workout experience, and available equipment
- Nutrition Preferences: Diet type, and meal frequency
- Daily Rhythm: Sleep schedule
Our AI uses this information to calculate your personalized calorie and macro targets, then you'll create your account and choose your subscription plan.
Glewell is a premium wellness platform with monthly and annual subscription options. Annual plans offer significant savings compared to monthly billing. Your subscription includes access to all features: comprehensive nutrition tracking, AI Health Coach, meal planning, workout tracking, analytics & reports, community features, and more. Glewell is available on iOS (iPhone/iPad), Android, and Web (desktop/tablet browsers). All your data syncs automatically across all devices when you're logged into the same account.
Food Logging & Tracking
Glewell offers multiple convenient ways to log food:

The barcode scanner uses your phone's camera to quickly identify packaged food items. Simply tap the scan icon in the food log, point your camera at the barcode, and Glewell will automatically pull up the nutritional information from our extensive database of products.
Yes! You can create custom food entries with complete nutritional information, and build recipes by adding multiple ingredients. Recipes calculate total and per-serving nutrition automatically. All custom foods and recipes are saved to your personal library for quick logging.
Use the quick-add water buttons in your dashboard or food log to track water intake. You can log water in cups, ounces, or milliliters. Set daily hydration goals and receive reminders to stay hydrated throughout the day.
AI Health Coach
The AI Health Coach is your 24/7 personal wellness assistant that analyzes your complete health data including food intake, workouts, sleep, water, and weight. It provides personalized guidance on nutrition, fitness, habit building, and overall wellness tailored to your goals and progress.
You can ask about:

Weekly Focus provides 3-5 personalized weekly goals based on your progress and habits. Each goal includes actionable tasks with checkboxes to track completion. The AI Health Coach analyzes your data to create relevant, achievable goals that support your health journey.
Build up to 5 healthy habits simultaneously with daily check-ins. Track your streak for each habit, get motivation from your AI coach, and build sustainable routines. Habits can include anything from drinking more water to exercising regularly or meditating daily.
Fitness & Workouts
Use Quick Log to add workouts by entering duration, calories burned, and heart points. For detailed tracking, browse our exercise library with hundreds of exercises (cardio, strength, flexibility), add them to your workout schedule, and log completion with sets, reps, and weight.
Our comprehensive exercise library includes hundreds of exercises across all categories (cardio, strength training, flexibility, sports). Each exercise includes detailed instructions, proper form guidance, target muscle groups, and difficulty level.
Yes! You can edit your weekly workouts by editing the schedule for specific days. You can do that in the adjuster, and your AI Health Coach can provide workout schedule suggestions based on your fitness goals and past activity.
Heart points measure cardiovascular activity intensity. Moderate activity earns 1 point per minute, vigorous activity earns 2 points per minute. The American Heart Association recommends 150+ heart points per week for optimal heart health.
Meal Planning & Recipes
Generate complete 7-day meal plans with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks tailored to your calorie target and macro goals. And customize meals as needed. Each meal includes detailed recipes with step-by-step instructions.
Absolutely! Swap meals between days. All meal plans adjust automatically to your calorie target.
Each meal in your plan includes a "Log This Meal" button that instantly adds all ingredients and nutrition to your food diary with one click. No need to manually enter anything!
Progress & Analytics
Track your progress with comprehensive reports including:

Account & Subscription
Access subscription settings in your account dashboard or app settings. You can switch between monthly and annual billing (annual plans offer significant savings), update payment methods, or view billing history. Payment is processed securely.
Manage your subscription through the platform where you originally subscribed:
- Settings → Manage Subscriptions tab
- Follow prompts to cancel your subscription
Your Premium features remain active until the end of your billing period.
Yes! Go to Settings → Account → Edit Profile to update your email address or password. For security, you'll need to verify your current password before making changes. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
Technical & Troubleshooting
Try these troubleshooting steps:

- Check your internet connection
- Clear app cache in settings
- Log out and log back in
If issues persist, contact support with details about your device, OS version, and the specific problem.
Ensure you're logged into the same account on all devices and have a stable internet connection. Try force-syncing by pulling down to refresh on your dashboard. If syncing issues continue, log out and back in on the affected device.
Try different search terms (brand name, generic name, or food category). If you still can't find it, create a custom food entry with the nutritional information from the package label. You can also use the barcode scanner for packaged products.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and will delete all your data including food logs, workouts, progress, and community posts. Make sure to export any data you want to keep before deleting.
Privacy & Data Security

We'll prepare a complete export of your account information, food logs, workouts, progress data, and community activity in a portable format (JSON/CSV). This process may take a few minutes to complete.
No, we do not sell or share your personal health data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We only share data when:
- Required by law or legal process
- You explicitly choose to export and share your own data
- Using essential service providers (cloud hosting, payment processing) under strict confidentiality agreements
